Fall Fest Event

At the Fall Fest event on October 11, 2017, designers from the Architectural and Interior Design community came together for a great cause benefiting Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta (CHOA), The Zone. Fall Fest is a pumpkin contest event hosted by Haworth and Office Images.
The pumpkins are “carved” by a wide range of design firms in Atlanta who brought their best and most creative carvers together to compete for the titles of 1st Place, 2nd Place, 3rd Place, and People’s Choice.
One of the values of Haworth’s and Office Images’ is giving back to the community. Each of our pumpkin submission was donated to the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, The Zone.
“Attending The Fall Fest and pumpkin decorating event hosted by Haworth and Office Images was a great honor for me! It was my first time attending and my eyes were wide with excitement and wonder as I saw the entries and all the work the staff put into the event; it was like a kid visiting a pumpkin patch for the first time! I can truly say that seeing these pumpkins will brighten the day of many children who would never see such beautiful designs during the Halloween season due to hospitalization. What is The Zone at CHOA?
The Zone is where our patients come to put their cares behind them and have fun, including parties and other special events. We provide patients and their families with a distraction from the medical realities and give them something to look forward to while in the hospital. Initially gifted to the hospital by Garth Brooks’ foundation, Teammates for Kids, The Zone is now 100 percent donor-funded and is reliant on the donations and contributions from our community.
